The Utah PTA Student Leadership Commission sponsors Battle of the Bands, a yearly event where bands from high schools across the state come together to compete for prizes. We also have some great sponsors who have provided recording sessions and performance opportunities to give our students more exposure to get their music out into the public eye.
All participants from the 2022 State event are eligible to play at the Utah State Fair again this year. The Utah PTA Battle of the Bands Showcase will be on Sept. 17, 2022, noon – 4 pm, at the Utah State Fairgrounds. We are looking forward to a fun show, and it’s a great opportunity for those new to Battle of the Bands to get a taste of what it will be like.
This year’s State Battle of the Bands will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Salt Lake Community College Grand Theatre, Salt Lake City, Utah.
